With over 1,200 exhibiting publishers from 25 countries, 3,000 writers in attendance and 5 hundred events, the Salon du Livre de Paris is the biggest and most crucial book fair in the Francophone world. For 6 days, over 198,000 visitors ( among them 25,000 registered trade visitors ) have the possibility of exploring the multifaceted French-language publishing landscape. The focus is on the major conventional publishing firms like Gallimard, Flammarion and Actes Sud.
