Through this system, your application can be processed and completed within 24 hours. There will be no label or stamp in your passport, but generally, a confirmation of the approval of your visa is issued. Now if you want to stay in the country for more than three months, you can actually apply for a working holiday visa, provided that you are between 18 to 31 years old. This will allow you to stay in Australia for 12 months. You will be allowed to work, but not for more than three months for any one employer. It is because your main purpose for going to the country is not employment but travel.
As much as there are tourist attractions in Australia for a vacationer to visit and discover, there are also scholastic opportunities for foreign students. For people who want to study officially in the country, the type of Australian visa that they need to apply for is a student visa. But first, you have to be formally accepted to a school in Australia. There are also employment opportunities for overseas skilled workforce and they can apply for a skilled visa for this. Obviously, Australia has many opportunities for tourists, students, and skilled workers alike. Hence if you decide to tour, study, or work in another country, Australia ought to be one of your options.
